The first folk LP pressed in India in the 21st century — manufactured at Amarrass’ own vinyl pressing plant in Gurugram — *Kesariya Balm* by Barmer Boys stands as a landmark release in contemporary Indian music history.
Named after one of Rajasthan’s most beloved folk songs, the album captures Manga, Sawai Khan, and Magada Khan at the peak of their musical journey. By this time, the Barmer Boys had already toured extensively across Europe and North America, and that global confidence resonates throughout the record — blending Sufi devotion, desert folk traditions, hypnotic morchang grooves, and raw Manganiyar energy into a sound that feels both timeless and fiercely modern.
Pressed on vinyl for warmth and depth of sound, *Kesariya Balm* was originally released in 2017 ahead of the group’s Europe tour.
